James has spread all the bedding muck that the sheep were housed on onto the fields last week and then today a local contractor, Hothersalls sprayed liquid fertilzer on the fields.  It doesnt smell!   The grass should grow now!

Yesterday I went to take part in the Young Farmers Stock Judging at Heversham.  We were judging beef cattle, fat Lambs and breeding Sheep and an animal health quiz.  I was pleased with my efforts (beating James!) but didn't win my class.   We do all different activities at Young Farmers from stock judging to ice skating.  Last week we visited the Inglesport Indoor climbing wall in Ingleton; that was brilliant fun!
